Getting started
What is CSEKIP?
A community of Counter-Strike players running its own servers: surf (easy and mid/high tiers), bhop and jailbreak on Counter-Strike 2, and minigames on Counter-Strike: Source. This site shows the live servers, the leaderboards and the stats of every player.
How do I join a server?
Open the Servers page and click a server: Join server starts it through Steam, the game has to be installed. You can also copy the address and type connect <ip:port> in the game console. On a phone, the button copies the address for later.
Does it cost anything to play?
No, playing on our servers is free. You just need to own Counter-Strike 2 on Steam, or Counter-Strike: Source for the minigames server.
Where are the servers hosted?
In Europe, plus a Surf Easy server in North America for players over there. The flag on each server card tells you which region it is in.
Surf and leaderboards
What is surf?
A Counter-Strike mode where you slide on angled ramps to get through a map as fast as you can. Hold the strafe key towards the ramp (A or D, never W) and move your mouse the same way. New to it? Start on the Surf Easy Tier server, or read our beginner's guide.
How does the ranking work?
Every map you finish earns points, and records earn more. Your points add up in the global ranking, and each map has its own leaderboard of best times. Everything is on the Leaderboards page.
What are seasons?
Each season starts the leaderboards from zero so everyone can race again. Season 4 has been live since May 2026. Seasons 1 to 3 stay in the archives, on the leaderboards and on every player profile.
Where can I see my stats?
Sign in with Steam at the top of the page, then open My profile: points, completed maps and the maps left to finish, season by season. Any player's profile can be opened from the leaderboards.
Store and credits
How do I earn credits?
By playing on our servers. Join the Surf Easy server once to create your store account, then credits add up while you play.
How do I spend them?
Type !store in the chat on any CSEKIP server to buy player skins, trails, wings and colored skins. VIP and Admin items need the matching rank.
Bans and support
I was banned or muted, what can I do?
Bans and mutes are listed with their reason, length and status. To appeal, open a ticket on our Discord and explain what happened.
How do I report a cheater or a problem?
Open a ticket on our Discord. A demo or a clip helps the admins a lot.
What does the site do with my Steam account?
Signing in only uses your public Steam profile (name, avatar and SteamID) to show your stats. Nothing is sold or shared, see the Terms of Service.
Is CSEKIP affiliated with Valve?
No. CSEKIP is an independent community project. Counter-Strike and Steam are trademarks of Valve Corporation.
